I'm back after a short break to do promo work for my book, Road to Recovery. This week's six comes from my work in progress.
Katie’s eyes slid open trying to take in her surroundings. Where was she? Whose warm body was this? Whose beefy arm was stretched possessively across her taut stomach? Turning, she pried her eyes open and her breath caught. Muscles all over protested with each movement she made.
